An inviting combination of an Arnold Palmer championship golf
course, a rich
history
reaching back to the Revolutionary War and Blue
Ridge Mountain vistas.
Description
White Oak Golf & Equestrian Community is an 1,100-acre master-planned
resort and golf community surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains
and sited on an 18th-century family retreat. The community is
easily accessible by major roads to a half-dozen large cities,
including Charlotte, Asheville and Greenville, SC. The nearby town of Tryon
offers much of what’s needed for everyday life.

The clubhouse will feature an Irish horseshoe pub and grill.
Exploring White Oak Golf & Equestrian
Community will be an experience
unto itself. Its amenities are to include an Arnold Palmer golf
course, a private vineyard, a state-of-the-art, Captain Mark
Phillips-designed Equestrian Center, a Family Activity Center and miles of hiking and
riding trails. And with four distinct and yet very mild seasons,
White Oak Golf & Equestrian Community is ideal for year-round living.

The clubhouse will look out over a 7,300-yard Arnold Palmer
golf course.
A Revolutionary Pedigree
The history of White Oak Golf & Equestrian Community goes back more than 250 years.
Several Revolutionary War battles were fought in its vicinity.
Evidence of the old plantation’s historic significance endures
with a graveyard containing the remains of a British regiment
lying just east of the golf course’s fourth hole.

Traditions endure at White Oak Golf & Equestrian Community.
The community's colonial heritage goes back
even further, however, to when King George II granted 93,000
acres in 1743 to forebears of the Camp family, who built a
landmark estate called White Oak Plantation.
"Homesites at historic White Oak," says the
developer, "will be spacious and serene, ranging in size from a
half-acre to three acres, reflecting our commitment to
ecologically sensitive and sustainable development practices
throughout." The gathering spot for residents will be the
Village and Family Activity Center with tennis, indoor and
outdoor swimming, and such important features as a community
chapel and community gardens and gathering areas.
Golf, Private Vineyard & Much More
The course at White Oak Plantation will be a private,
par-71 layout in the foothills of western North Carolina.
The 7,300-yard layout layout will incorporate White Oak Creek on
many holes. Homesites atop surrounding hills will enjoy a
natural amphitheater, with golf as the stage.

Stargaze at the Celestial Observatory.
White Oak’s founders have extended their
vision beyond the standard amenities to include a private
vineyard, a celestial observatory and a 21st-century wellness
center—all designed to nourish the mind and create personal
well-being.
